homeschool holidays

We've had a few days in the past week where it felt like our school-things-done column could simply read "not much".

sigh.

As in years past we will keep on trucking, trying to make the most of these weeks even when some days feel helter-skelter.  We have a big three week break coming up in February (headed south for some meetings and then on to the beach!) so we can't afford to take gobs of time off now and then again later.

In the meantime, I like to compensate for days that feel a little fuzzy with some extra reading time.

Bonus if you have Christmas lights strung on your bunk beds (thanks to some unexpected free strings of lights we have plenty of Christmas-lighting-cheer in both kid bedrooms this year!)
