field trip fun (the corn maze)

So I'm starting to feel like a full time field trip driver - ha!  This time it was a short little jaunt down the road to the corn maze.  Matt arranged to borrow Grandma's van so he could drive too and while he did have a "how did I get myself signed up for this moment" I think he's mostly glad he did it!  John Paul was thrilled to have Dad driving for his class, and I drove for Luke's.

It is definitely a maze out there!  The kindergarteners and I trekked in a short distance then turned around and retraced our steps right out of there!  The older kids on the other side of the maze had tales of harrowing adventures and "almost got losts" and enjoyed themselves immensely.

Apart from the maze there were plenty of other attractions including a corn box (think sand box, but filled with corn kernels) and this huge slide was probably the biggest hit for kids of every grade!

The entire school (K-8) went on the field trip so I got sneak peaks of all of my kids at one time or another.

And a big school group shot at the end of the time.  This is such a sweet little school and I'm so thankful for the people there who welcome us so well.
