first day of school pictures, part 3

My third attempt at taking some "first day of school" pictures.  I'm fortunate that we have several first days around here, so I get multiple attempts at the pics!

These big three - proud of my little people!  It's bold and brave to walk in a school gate with 2000 classmates, and to be part of the few, the proud, the only tow-headed foreigners on campus.

And, of course, thing 1 and thing 2.  Partners and buddies and co-conspirators in every way.

Today (Friday) the elementary schoolers are on day two of official school (not just registration).  The little guys are lego-ing and I'm getting ready to walk up and meet everyone when the school dismissal bell rings.  The weekend is here.

and as a finale, two outtakes from my John Paul photo shoot.  Still working on that smile....
