days one and two

What do you do when you only have a few days in a community filled with family and friends that you love?  it's tough.  And we knew when we planned the trip that it would be tough.  But worth it.

[and you are super thankful for a sister-in-law who takes great photos!]

we love Uncle Andy's dog (well, except Lydia, who is not a fan of dogs)

And the swing in Grandpa and Grandma's backyard.

And quick trips to Cabela's for the men in the family...

and playing checkers on the back porch

and the lake, oh, the lake!

we fished off the dock, and we fished off the boat.  and we caught crazy amounts of fish!

you couldn't find better fishing partners anywhere than our 12 year old nephews.

with the catch, back at the house, at the end of the day.  I think we caught about 100 fish, and kept 15 or so for eating.

Yum!

Wow, looks like super fun! And good eating for all too. Thinking that experience is going to be hard to beat!

It's so great to get to spend time with friends and family. Looks like they did more catching than fishing!! We are so looking forward to seeing friends and family in the next few weeks.
