Our kids liked The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey, and the Legend of the Christmas Cane. We used to have a longer book called Jotham's Journey which is meant to be read through advent. It was really interesting but I think I must have lent it to someone who never gave it back. :( I would still read that one to them, even at the ages of our kids.
Hi friend! This is probably too late for you to make an order, but I thought I'd add a comment just to let you know I'm reading (and rooting for your girls in their upcoming TV competition!).
My two favorites: The Little Drummer Boy by Ezra Jack Keats - we have the board book version, but I think it comes in regular print as well The Legend of the Candy Cane by Lori Walburg - beautiful illustrations and sweet story
