ready for a game of football

Monday was absolutely gorgeous - clear blue sunny skies. We enjoyed a picnic lunch at the running track in our little town. After lunch, the girls played in the grassy area in the center of the track.

I took a few photos and after I got home realized that in several of them Julianna looks like she's training for football season (even though she's playing with a small basketball).

A talented quarterback (left-handed!).....


She also practiced snapping the ball.....


Lydia wasn't too interested in playing football - she entertained herself in the grass. Matt and I sat next to the girls and enjoyed the sunshine.



We had a great time!
