on the other side of the world

Almost a week has passed and I haven't opened my computer at all!  (No complaints from me on that account!)

The trip?  Easy.  and the jet lag?  Mostly easy.

The first few days in Raleigh were full - but in a good way - it kept us moving and out & about during daylight hours.  We picnicked with some of my parents good friends, hit the library for a huge stack of books, went swimming with my college roommate and her family and then my Mom hosted my cousin and his family for dinner.

And then today we drove to the beach for the next 12 days!  woohoo!
