Last night she and Grandma made up the cupcakes.....
Then this morning before lunch there was a big cupcake decorating session - Krisanne spread icing and then Julianna, Paul and Grandma used candy to make faces on the cupcakes.
They got really creative - I was envisioning the basic eyes, nose, and mouth arrangement but they went way beyond my expectations and even added hats, beards, arms and legs. Here are a few of the finished products.... see the guy at the bottom of the photo with glasses and marshmallow ears?
And, of course, the best part was probably the cupcake eating!
We had a great day celebrating together!
