what exactly IS that???

Monday we headed home after a picnic lunch and the girls got distracted by this....


I am almost positive our first floor neighbor put it there.


Any guesses as to what is in those baskets?

PS - I am not entirely sure of the answer myself :)

    It looks like the dried shitake mushrooms that we buy. They sure are yummy in a pot roast cooked in the crockpot.
